The
Tamar Development Project (the Project) covers design and construction
of a Central Government Complex, the Legislative Council Complex,
an open space and two elevated walkways, in Tamar, Central,
Hong Kong.
In
September 2006, the Government invited tender for the design-and-build
contract for the Project. In January 2008, the Government awarded
the contract to Gammon-Hip Hing Joint Venture.
The
contract period runs for 39 months and the target completion
date is 2011.
